Summary meeting in Estonia (January 2023)

The first day of the mobility started with the visiting of the Lasnamäe Gümnaasium, where all the participants got to know each other, the students prepared the school tour and an attractive presentation. The Estonian partners met us with a very sincere concert, followed by a lesson on career studies, the purpose of which was professional orientation and self-awareness. After lunch, the 11-th grade schoolgirls led us a fascinating excursion in Tallinn’s Old Town. At the end of
the day, pupils and teachers skated in the Old Town ice-skating rink.

The second day of the Erasmus+ project, European Skills for Future, was full of creative workshops and meetings. In the morning, our Spanish partners gave a workshop about a job interview «Let’s get a job!». Then all the teams were split into groups and met with an airport representative and an IT specialist who presented the specific details of their profession.
After lunch, the students continued to work in groups: programming and preparing souvenirs. At this time the coordinators had their meeting.

At the end of the day, we visited the municipal department, where we were told about their activities related to education and social welfare issues.

The third day of the program was also very exciting. It was a day of tour. Early in the morning all the participants went to Valgehobusemäe ski and recreation centre. After arriving at the destination, the students had Teambuilding games.
Organizers explained how to light a fire in the wild and what is needed for this, and all the participants successfully completed the task. It was very interesting and fun to play snowballs as well. After the lunch the teachers and students enjoyed such winter activities like a snow tube track with a magic carpet surface lift and alpine skiing slopes with a ski lift. This day was very entertaining and astonishing, and everyone really liked it.

On the 4-th project’s day Estonian team presented culture lesson about country, traditions and Estonian language.
Then Portuguese partners taught students to work on LinkedIn’s portal and build their own profile and CV.
After lunch the students went to the Estonian workshop, where they met with an Estonian actor-director, who told about his experience of moving and living in the USA. After the meeting the participants took place in the next workshop – Muna

Lesson, where they were divided into groups and experimented with an egg and egg white and other chemicals. The meeting of coordinators was also held on that day.

The last day of the Erasmus+ project in Estonia’s capital started with an Estonian creative workshop. All teams made notebooks from old books, decorated them with stickers and ribbons. It was real handmade. An unforgettable moment of this day was a big flash mob of all participants to the music of modern songs. Following that, the students gave the feedback and shared their experience of being in Tallinn, then was students’ and teachers’ evaluation. Finally, the project participants received the certificates. It was the time to say goodbye and look forward to the last mobility in Latvia.
