Summary meeting in Greece (September 2021)
During the first meeting in Athens the coordinators and teachers have discussed the details of the Erasmus+ project ”Europe Future – Skills” 2020 – 2023.
MONDAY
The first day program included the visiting of the 1st Gymnasium of Galatsi where all the participants got to know each other, the students prepared presentations to introduce their schools and surroundings.
Students did an icebreaking game.
Coordinators and teachers shared their expectations and discussed skills questionnaire that could contribute to the project’s workshops.
We had a great lunch served by the teachers.
TUESDAY
On the second day of our stay in Greece teachers and students visited the Acropolis and Ancient Agora, the Acropolis Museum. Students learned about jobs in tourism branch.
On the afternoon Teachers had a visit to the Acropolis Museum.
In the evening the coordinators and teaches had a meeting where the responsibilities of each country were discussed, have been also developed the questionnaire for interview. The ideas were written down on the sheets and taped on the meeting room’s wall. The meeting participants also discussed the partner country for the next mobility and the number of students to participate in the trips. Also project coordinator Susanne presented information about educational system in Germany and asked the others to do the same on their next mobility to Spain.
WEDNESDAY
The third day of the program was also very interesing. All the participants went to the Marathon where they enjoyed seeing Marathon lake and dam, visited Marathon Run Museum and Marathon Tomb, learned the facts of the battle of Marathon and the origin of Olympics marathon.
The teachers and students were lucky to swim in The Aegean sea and discussed how skills changed in the times.
THURSDAY
On Thursday students and teachers visited the Panathenaic Stadium where in 1896 the 1st modern Olympic Games took place, discussed the most important skills for Olympic Games participants.
Students did sports and had the opportunity to take part in the race at the famous stadium.
The program of the fourth day also included a visit to the radio station Athens 9.84 FM. It is the 1st free radio in the city which was founded in 1987. It broadcasts 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. It creates new programs, refreshes its music and songs, combines information with culture, creates artistic, musical and theatrical events.
FRIDAY
The last day of the mobility in Greece was full of various activities at school: Erasmus work, creating of a poster, writing summaries to inform the school family, collect material, exchange pictures, students’ evaluation of the skills required for different jobs, final feedback about mobility in Greece, sharing ideas and information.

And finally the Greek students represented the theatrical play about mystery and maths «Who killed Mrs. X?».
Project coordinators also had finally meeting and decided that each country needs to include in next mobility’s plan the following: icebreaker games, school tour, workshop about selected skills, visiting a company or factory, sightseeing, sport activities.
Trips dates were planned for the project: Spain: February, 2022 and Germany: May, 2022.
The Greek team extended great hospitaility and huge effort to coordinate this week. It has been an amazing experience. All the participant were satisfied with the results of this mobility.
