Summary meeting in Germany (May 2022)

Between 16 and 20 May, all participant schools met at Staatliche Realschule in Bobingen (Germany) as part of the Erasmus + project.

Monday, May 16th

On Monday, May 16, we began the official program schedule   with a welcome from the Mayor, the Director and the project coordinator. We did the excursion around the Bobingen school to get acknowledged with the way the students are studying, the way their ordinary school life is organised.

Then each country gave a presentation about the educational system of each country- students could compare the differences and similarities of educational systems of the involved countries. At the end students had a quest around the city – to learn the architecture and history of the city.

Tuesday, May 17th

The first part of the second day was devoted to learning about life skills like cooperation, critical thinking, creativity and so on.
Students took part in a quest made by Portuguese team. The students participated with enthusiasm, especially when they played an online Escape Room, specially designed to develop their critical and creative thinking.

At the end of the activities, each group chose the qualities that will be necessary
and most important in the future world of work. Then they were divided into 3 groups to take part in workshops- robotics, producing projects on
ipads and cooking. All of them were important and exciting.

After hard work everyone went to the Zoo (Augsburg). The workers of the Zoo made an excursion and told about their work- what skills and knowledge is needed, who can work in the Zoo and where to learn how to take care of the animals.

Wednesday, May 18th

Students went to the castle called Linderhof. There they were given a tour of the palace of Ludwig II, the King of Bavaria in the 19th century. Pupils learned a lot about that time and about the life of 19th century. After the tour everyone could enjoy the beauty of the magnificent park.

Then also went to the Monastery Alndechs and found out a lot of history about traditional places in Bavaria. We had a meal at the monastery cafe, it was very typical Bavarian Food and Drinks. Later we went to Munich- we visited the main square, the old church and could see lots of architectural monuments. The city is amazing. It was very hot today and we had a lot of impressions and fun!

Thursday, May 19th

In the morning students had a workshop (provided by Spanish team) in which they learned the skill of entrepreneurship. It wasn’t easy but great.

After school they went to Rock Climbing Gym – “Block Hütte” in Augsburg to learn about our limits and communicate with new friends.

In the afternoon everyone went on an excursion around the old town of Augsburg. Pupils from Germany made presentations – interesting facts- about the most beautiful and prominent places of the town.

Friday, May 20th

Students participated in a workshop dedicated to body language – they learned how difficult it is to show themselves. It was interesting and funny.
Then they could draw their feelings- it was creative, different and fun.

During the students break there was a coordinators meeting to negotiate all the important aspects. At the end pupils discussed the activities of this week, evaluated their involvement and the importance of such meetings.
The week was amazing with its friendly and warm atmosphere. Everyone could feel as a member of a great team. And definitely the knowledge got will be useful in our student’s life.

We then held a coordination meeting with representatives from different countries.
